While awareness toward breast cancer should be continuous, October is special as during the period people with great cancer over the disease increase their campaign to the wider public. However, the target is of course individual person. It is you who have the biggest responsibility to your “breast life” — even if you are a man. Here’s a check list to help you consider your health strategy in dealing with one of the most deadly diseases in the world.
- Have you conducted your regular checkup? (Ensure that you have made your appointment with the doctor).
- How is your relation with your doctor? (If your doctor doesn’t listen to you attentively, stop the visit and look for another, more attentive doctor)
- How is your food choice? (Recommendation: get those junk foods away soon)
- Have you exercise today? (Physical exercise is the only way to make your breast, as well as the other parts of your body, obeys the meaning of your physical structure, and even increase your life expectancy)
- How do you manage your stress? (Alright, nobody in this century that doesn’t live with stress and frustration: the two gates to contract the dreaded breast cancer).
- Have you finished with your glass/bottle? (Alcohol increase the risk of breast cancer).
- How is your relationship with the family, lovers, and community — and with yourself?
- How do you perceive the existence of breast cancer from spiritual point of view? What is the intention of the Lord when He created such deadly disease?
- Have you done something positive for others? (Volunteering is one of the recommended ways to keep your body and soul healthy)
