Male menopause prevention: testosteron therapy

Male menopause prevention testosteron therapyMale menopause prevention gets a new method as Malcolm Curruthers, a researcher from the University College London, said men could do it by testosteron therapy. According to the researcher, lack of testosteron does not only produces troubling symptoms for men in their 40s. It could also be associated with diabetes, heart attack, and frail bone.

Curruthers also said some studies have also started to associate it with Alzheimer. As per men menopause, he said it is caused by testosteron deficiency. It affects one of five men in their 50s. However, younger men can also contract the symptom when they lack sexual hormones. But further development of the symptom can be prevented with male menopause prevention.

Testeosteron as male menopause prevention

As an example, the artists Robbie Williams, 37, recently announced that he has used the male menopause prevention method. He has injected himself with testosteron. By doing so, he wanted to improve his sexual hormones. The injection was said to work for six months. Another method is using gel.

The symptom has been identified by health care providers since long ago. It is occurred in men in their 50s. These men usually show changes in attitude. However, some doctors see it as the ordinary signal of aging. Others see depression, hot flushes and lost of sexual drive as the side effects of overweight, laziness, smoking and alcohol.

It is only recently that the symptom is identified as a separate symptom. A study conducted for fifteen years with 1,5000 patients in the Carruther Men Health Center in London said those medics arguments have no base. The institution then set to work to find best method for male menopause prevention.

The result of the further research recommends testosteron injection as the best and easiest method for male menopause prevention, although some doctors debated the method as it is said to produce yet unexplained side effects.

The disease is distributed throughout the veins via liquid that surrounds human brain and enters the central nervous system.

Melarsoprol, an arsenic-based medicine, is now used to cure the disease. However, medication using this drug can hurt the patient and some patients even died during the medication. But the researchers at Glasgow University claimed they have found the way to combine that drug with siklodekstrin, a molecule that surrounds the drug so that it can be administered orally and the intestine is slower in absorbing the medication.
